I’m writing to say how satisfied I am with the job your staff did. It started with our meeting with Dennis Kotyk. We met with people from 3 other firms and Dennis was by far the best. The low was a person who came out, looked at the house and gave a $ figure and was gone. The others all did a good job, but none took the time to go into the detail that Dennis did in explaining what was going to be done, what steps any quality roofer would do, and a few little extras that he would do. We really felt that he was there to help us and advise, never to push us in a particular direction.

After we signed the contract we half expected things to change (the old “Promise them anything to get the contract”). We were pleasantly surprised when he was so agreeable to work with us in setting up a date to do the work. Then, since they were going to do the work on a Friday, I was afraid if they used a dumpster, it would sit in my driveway all weekend. He said, because of my concern, he would use a dump truck.

The day the work was being done he called before they started and afterward. I could not have asked for more. If all of your estimators are this good, you are very fortunate.

The crew that came out was all very hard working and seemed very considerate to my property. Again I can’t think of anything they could have done better. The crew chief seemed to anticipate the few concerns I had and quickly was able to allay them. The cleanup went well and I haven’t seen any problems as a result of them having been here. The crew chief was another asset you have.

I found your company by going on the GAF web site and reading some reviews, plus your standing with GAF. How can I add to these reviews?

Your company had a crew of workers at the Richards home 1202 Meissen Court, Ambler PA during the period week of 11/17 through 11/2/08.

Your crew was putting on a new roof at the above address and I live next door at 1201 Meissen Court. Obviously, there is no way to put a new roof on one townhouse without creating some disturbance and mess for the properties adjacent. I expected this.

When I returned home on 11/18/08, I decided to rake some of my leaves.Though did see some debris from the house next door, the men were still busy working and I had no real concern for the sticks and other stuff that was included with my leaves. A man who I assume was the supervisor came over and seemed concerned that I was cleaning up the yard. He mentioned to me that they would clean everything up when they were finished. That was very nice of him and I assured him it was the leaves I was after and that I assumed that they would clean up the yard when they were done.

On 11/19/08 when I arrived home the crew was packing up and I suppose it was their last day working. What I didn’t notice until later was what an unbelievable job they did cleaning my property. I had to say that it looked better after they left than when they arrived. They cleaned the gutters and I really didn’t expect them to as I didn’t see any debris in them other than leaves. I’ve never seen the patio look so clean and I’m usually out there schlepping every other day. The problem is I didn’t really see what an outstanding job they did until after they had left. Because they appear to be finished the job next door. I would like to give them a little bonus. I was thinking $100.00 to divide amongst

I don’t know how many were working. If you could have someone stop by – I feel bad that I didn’t catch them before they left. My house is up for sale and every little bit of eye appeal helps.

It Isn’t often I write a company that I do business with unless it is a complaint; this however is not the case. I just wanted to let you know how pleased I am with C&C. You thoroughly explained your estimate and any addition charger that would be incurred for wood replacement. You promptly returned my phone calls and answered any questions in detail.

Since the weather was so bad this past month I really didn’t expect to have any roof completed until after the the holidays but you took advantage of every window of favorable weather conditions and completed the job. My compliments to your crews, they did a fantastic job on the roof as well as the aluminum, vinyl work and gutters and took care of my property as if it was their own and cleaned up every bit of debris. The house looks great; the charcoal shingles with the existing gray siding give this house a whole new look. I would encourage customers to go to your website and the GAF site and use the shingle selector to view shingle and siding colors. The real test though was this past weekend with high winds and rain, no leaks and no lost shingles. Had my old roof still been on it would probably be strewn all over my yard an I’d have puddles in my attic. Great timing!

As with any major home improvement I felt it was wise to get several comparison estimates and make a logical decision. Your estimate was by far the lowest and you were able to complete the job soonest. I also felt more at ease with you than with the other estimators; you arrived on time and didn’t waste my time sitting around for half a day. Again you thoroughly examined the roof explained and went over each item line by line. Above all you didn’t rush me or give me some sales pitch or offer to close the deal. I am enclosing the other estimates I received for the work, same GAF shingles, same roof, same installation, same aluminum, vinl soffit and fascia work and same gutters. I’m sure you will be shocked and and amazed in the disparity of the estimates. Yours is substantially less, not by a $100.00 or so but by several thousand difference.

Should you be requested for a referral please feel free to contact me. I would heartily refer your company to others. I’ve had several neighbors compliment the roof job and ask who did the roof prior to you placing the sign in the yard. A close friend of mine (Dennis A.) who lives down the street several blocks will definitely be calling you next year to have his roof replaced by C&C. Should I ever decide to change my siding or windows I will give you a call.
